Lakeland District for Sport, Culture and Recreation offer the following types of training to help develop and train Youth Leadership Skills:

HIGH FIVE®

Through HIGH FIVE® training, front line recreation, sport and after school leaders learn how to incorporate the Principles of Healthy Child Development into their everyday programming for ages 6-12.

SPRA's Take the Lead!®

A program focused on fostering leadership skills in youth aged 11-14.

Play Leadership Workshop

Supplemental workshop to HIGH FIVE®, targeted to ages 16+.

*Workshops facilitated by Lakeland District Staff are at no cost for facilitator, mileage or lodging.
